My name is Ellen, and I am a graduate student at the University of Georgia pursuing a Master's degree in Art Education in addition to a K-12 teaching certification.

Currently, I work as an education specialist for the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. My job involves of teaching learners of all ages about the importance of the environment and conserving our natural resources. As part of my thesis work, I am creating a virtual field trip curriculum centered on the intersection of art and nature for the newly built Center For Art and Nature: Porcelain and Decorative Arts Museum in Athens, Ga.
